British author Dr Dr Amit Patel has been unveiled as an ambassador for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Patel commented 'My life turned upside down ten years ago when I lost my sight overnight. I thought my life was over, I lost who I was. RNIB was there for me when I needed them. With their collaboration, everything changed - I was back in control of my life'.
